In November 2011, a serene Saturday morning greeted me, and I relished waking up naturally, free from the burdens of overtime work. As I peered out of the
window, the scenery was nice, but capturing its beauty on camera proved challenging, lacking lively characters. Eager to enliven the view, I turned to my
father's toolbox on the balcony, retrieving wire, coils, pliers, and various parts to create a wire figurine. Adding a coat and boots made from my torn socks,
the small figurine took its place by the window, breathing life into my photographs.
In the following year, 2012, as a visiting artist, I journeyed to the City of Art, Paris, accompanied by my parents. The city's streets offered picturesque views,
yet I wondered how my pictures could stand out from others'. It was then that I recalled the little wire man I had crafted back home. Collaborating with my father,
we wove together a 1.3-meter-high wire man in my Paris studio. Hence, whenever we embarked on family trips, this wire companion, now affectionately named
Mr. P, joined us, sparking curiosity and inquiries from others about his identity.
Thus began Mr. P's extraordinary journey.
